We are excited to offer a subscription service for you to receive a hand-tied bouquet of beautiful, fresh cut flowers for ten weeks running from June through September. Bouquets will be packed with blooms that are fresh, unique, and fragrant! Varieties will change weekly as flowers come in and out of season.
Our ten-week subscription was by far our most popular option in 2020! It was such a joy to fill so many homes with fresh flowers throughout the entire growing season. Our ten-week subscribers get a taste of the first flowers to bloom in the season including specialty tulips and hopefully (but not guaranteed) narcissus for the first time this season. There may be a short lull in deliveries between spring and summer bouquets. You will be informed of all the details as the season unfolds.
Exact dates will be determined once the fields are in bloom.
Prairie Blossom focuses on organic and sustainable growing techniques so go ahead and bury your face in the flowers.
Flower subscriptions are perfect for those who want to brighten up their home, cottage, office, or any other space with fresh flowers every week. Some of our subscribers take their bouquets camping too!
Consider purchasing a flower subscription to gift to a loved one this year!
If you will be away at any time during the period of your subscription, the bouquets can be transferred to someone of your choice.
Please note that bouquets are not delivered to your home. Here is a list of locations where you will be required to pick your bouquet up weekly.
In Winnipeg, bouquets will be available for pick up at Blue Hills Design. They are located at 165 Lilac Street. Pickup day will be on Tuesday.
In Portage la Prairie, bouquets will be available for pick up at the Portage Farmer's Market on Wednesdays between 3:30 and 6:00 pm.
In Brandon, bouquets will be available for pickup at Baby Bump. They are located at 728 18th Street. Pickup day will be on Thursday.
Images are of just a few varieties we grew last year. Bouquets will vary each week depending on which flowers are in bloom.
What is a CSA subscription?
CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a commitment between a farm and a coummunity of supporters. It creates a link between farmer and consumer directly, for the most fresh and sustainably grown product. It provides the farm a source of income for the upcoming season including the purchase of seeds, equipment, and/or infrastructure.
Purchasing a CSA subscription from Prairie Blossom will provide shareholders a fresh bouquet each week for 4-10 weeks (depending on the share purchased).
